About

We are a mother/daughter duo committed  to focusing on our art and on the little herd of horses that we have recently acquired.  Both bring us great joy, and photography is a nice way to blend the two interests.  This blog is our evidence.

    Hi Jan,
I had the Beadell’s over for homemade apple pie today. Since they are horse lovers I told them about your blog and your new family of horses…..they saw the pictures and I am going to send them your e-address….I saw the write up on Mother’s Day. Your mom would be so proud of U and Sandy (me too)…..I was blessed when I met your father and equally blessed to have U and Sandy a part of my life. xox

Bird strikes. A painful experience for us, as well. Here are resources to prevent bird strikes – I have used these decals on three residences and the printed-out silhouettes from Audobon (both white and black on the widows prevent strikes during clear AND cloudy days) as well… (One strike after posting decals showed I had a gap in the window coverage- I posted one more decal.) and all strikes simply stopped.
