horsing around 2015: it’s what we do

December 22, 2014

every year i make a calendar for my extended family,

complete with birthdays and anniversaries already entered.

it’s a nice little way to keep in touch

and share our days with the herd.

i’m formatting this a few days early,

as the family is getting these as solstice gifts this year.

once the calendars are in their hands

i can press the publish button.

and here it is:

I’m loving the month of May~ with a view of five rumps and tails drinking around the trough! And November, with the “watercolor” horse. Just beautiful.
You are a fine photographer, adding a little pizazz to the mix!
What a year! The year of the horse.
It flew by. Way too fast.
Oh, and I guess we could call it the year of the flying horse? 🙂

the calendar is always fun to put together, giving me a reason to go back through the year of photos and reflect on those times. it was a change to include some of the embellished photos but i really enjoy plaing like that and am sometimes intrigued by the results! and while last year was ‘the year of the horse’, i am excited to see what this year with my horses will bring! xx
