it’s in the details

January 13, 2012

a single candle

joined by another

a piece of someone’s history

the juxtaposition of old and new

pursuits of passion

angles of light

fleeting reflections

moments captured in time

threads and fibers

nature’s castoffs

books, bunches, and bundles

inherited histories

dreams woven and shared

relics

reminders

and remembrances

do you ever have those moments when you suddenly become overwhelmed by

just how much of life is captured in the details?

i am learning to mind the small things,

because together they make up the big things.
