this is my manifesto

December 31, 2011

•  take nothing for granted.

experience life with a sense of wonder.

•  spend time outside every day.

the natural world is a source of good things.

•  create a nurturing home.

make home a refuge, a hand-crafted sheltering place for family and friends.

welcome color, light, and creativity.

•  be a maker.

whether it be a loaf of bread or a work of art, use your hands.

learn to knit.

•  read and write each day:  read to learn from the great thoughts of others

and write to bring clarity and energy to your own thoughts and ideas.

•  be purposeful and be present.

•  develop relationship with each horse as an individual,

and work in partnership to learn and grow together.

in fact, do this with all living beings.

• put forth good work.

•  gather together.

be grateful for life’s true riches.

•  celebrate.

we live in a world of magic, miracles, and possibility.

this is my manifesto.

happy new year to you.

i wish you all good things in 2012.

xoxo  janet

I love all of your photographs, they are beatiful and give a welcoming glimpse into your life.
I really enjoyed seeing pictures of the horses, especially since I have a Gypsy I also purchased from Charlie. Thanks for sharing!

      welcome– thanks for stopping by!
come back again, because the gypsies have a way of making it into many of the blog posts!
which one of the horses did you get?

I purchased Teadoir, the mostly white gelding with the blue eyes. That is how I found your blog was on Charlie’s website. Just milling around today on there and saw your info. Thanks again, I will definitley stop by another time.
