naturally.
here’s the deal:
i just wrote you a looooong blog post.
and at the very last photo i accidentally uploaded the wrong one.
so i deleted it.
along with the entire post.

so, this is my summarization:
we are in copper mountain, at 9712 feet elevation.
we are finding nature to be very healing and restorative
(especially right at this moment…).
it is beautiful here.
today we hiked six miles up to vail pass summit,
a climb of about 1000 feet.
i took many photos.
tomorrow we will bike to the summit.
fire danger is ‘extreme’,
but we are not affected by the high park fire like we are at home.
(one morning this past week the smoke had pooled throughout our city like a fog,
and driving out of town i felt like i was parting a suffocating mist.)
here the skies are blue and the air clear.
